i found that there were many torrents for the first episode and only one for the first episode of the second season. all three episodes are listed on the pirate bay. however, for the remaining four episodes, there were no torrents on the pirate bay. i tried downloading the tracks using amtorrent, but they are separate files and amtorrent cannot combine them together. so, i'm pretty sure these episodes have been released legitimately on the internet. there is no chance of piracy, because all episodes are listed on a torrent site.
4. download with vlc. i would not recommend this method to download the episodes. it takes a lot of time and a lot of space. the reason is vlc really does not know the difference between legitimate and illegitimate files. it just puts them on a disk. so, it was taking a long time to rip the first episode.
the episode was about 300gb of audio and video files. i would have been happy to have downloaded the entire episode and used the rip menu to remove the commercials. all new ripped files are usually a bit bigger than the original one.
5. download with scummvm. in the last year, this has become the best way to download movies and tv shows. the program is great to configure and all the freeware episodes i have downloaded with it were clean. the episodes were stored in the original format and had the same file size.
